Responsibilities
- System Design: Lead the end-to-end design of complex electrical systems, including power distribution, control logic, and embedded circuitry.
- Simulation & Analysis: Utilize advanced simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice) to model system behavior and optimize performance before physical prototyping.
- Prototyping: Oversee the fabrication and testing of prototypes, conducting rigorous testing to validate design specifications and reliability.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards (UL, IEC, IEEE) and regulatory requirements.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in electrical system design, preferably in power electronics or industrial control.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Eagle, Altium Designer) and simulation software.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex engineering issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
