Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM technologies for precision modeling and documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering standards (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality control protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and support professional development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in transportation engineering and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM)
- Proven track record managing projects over $10M in value
- Familiarity with Houston's regulatory environment and permitting processes
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in engineering software
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication abilities
- LEED AP certification preferred
