Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance
- Analyze well data to identify optimization opportunities and recommend strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in field development planning
- Prepare technical reports and economic evaluations for senior stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers through knowledge transfer sessions
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on integrated reservoir characterization
- Support implementation of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, tNavigator)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis
- Valid PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Demonstrated project leadership in complex field developments
- Experience with unconventional reservoirs (shale, tight formations)
- Excellent communication skills for technical presentations
