Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, coastal protection, and urban drainage systems
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterGEMS)
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, tender documents, and construction drawings
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage project timelines/budgets
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's Building Authority (BCA) and PUB regulations
- Conduct site inspections and provide engineering recommendations during construction phases
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil infrastructure design with Singaporean project exposure
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent international certification
- Expert proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and infrastructure analysis software
- Deep understanding of geotechnical principles and local soil conditions
- Proven track record in managing projects valued over S$50 million
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's infrastructure codes and sustainability standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders
