Responsibilities
- Design and simulate complex electrical power systems using industry-standard tools like Altium or Cadence.
- Lead the development of PCB layouts, focusing on power integrity, thermal management, and high-speed signal pathways.
- Collaborate with cross-functional mechanical and firmware engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into cohesive product designs.
- Perform rigorous hardware validation, stress testing, and failure analysis to ensure product reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct comprehensive technical design reviews.
- Manage vendor relationships for component sourcing and prototyping phases.
- Ensure all designs comply with global safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in circuit design, power electronics, or hardware engineering.
- Proven expertise in schematic capture and PCB design software.
- Deep understanding of EMC/EMI compliance and mitigation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multi-meters.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
