Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and recovery factors
- Lead multidisciplinary field development planning for unconventional assets
- Analyze well performance data to recommend hydraulic fracturing and completions optimizations
- Develop economic models for field development scenarios and investment decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of reservoir studies
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate geological data into reservoir characterization
- Stay current with emerging technologies in AI-driven reservoir analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, tNavigator)
- Proven track record in unconventional resource development (shale gas/oil)
- Strong analytical skills with reservoir surveillance and production optimization
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with economic modeling tools (PetroVR, GAP)
- Knowledge of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies is a plus
