Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-reliability electrical systems for aerospace applications
- Lead PCB layout, schematic capture, and signal integrity analysis
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time control systems
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system design
- Document engineering processes and create technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, motor drives, and battery management
- Familiarity with DO-160G and FAA certification requirements
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Experience with FPGA programming and VHDL/Verilog
