Responsibilities
- Design and optimize reservoir simulation models for unconventional and conventional assets
- Lead production forecasting and economic analysis for global exploration projects
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic data and well logs into reservoir characterization
- Develop enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies for mature fields
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive innovation in digital twin technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, tNavigator, Nexus)
- Expertise in production data analysis and decline curve modeling
- Strong understanding of well design, hydraulic fracturing, and completions
- Valid P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven track record of optimizing asset recovery rates by 15%+
