Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar inverters and battery storage solutions
- Lead PCB layout and validation for high-power electronics (≥50kW)
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time control systems using C/C++
- Conduct thermal and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulations
- Collaborate with mechanical teams for system integration
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and PSpice simulation tools
- Expertise in three-phase inverters and MPPT algorithms
- Familiarity with CAN bus and Modbus communication protocols
- Strong analytical skills with root cause analysis experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
- Experience with renewable energy systems highly desirable
