Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design projects using CAD/SolidWorks for industrial automation systems
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop detailed manufacturing specifications and assembly documentation
- Coordinate prototype builds and conduct rigorous testing/validation procedures
- Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and performance targets
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Collaborate with R&D on next-generation product development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of mechanical design experience in industrial/manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Strong FEA/CFD simulation experience (ANSYS preferred)
- Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Proven project management with PMP certification a plus
- Experience with mechatronic systems integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
