Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir management strategies for multi-well production assets.
  • Perform advanced reservoir simulation and material balance modeling to predict future performance.
  • Conduct economic evaluations and risk assessments for potential acquisitions and drilling prospects.
  • Collaborate with drilling, completions, and facilities teams to optimize well placement and productivity.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence across the reservoir department.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal safety standards for all operations.
  • Present technical findings and development plans to executive leadership for investment approval.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering within an O&G upstream setting.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, OFM, or Kappa Workstation.
  • Deep expertise in unconventional resource assessment and decline curve analysis (DCA).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional reporting.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
