Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of reservoir simulation models for complex conventional and unconventional assets.
- Analyze well performance and pressure transient data to optimize field development plans.
- Prepare comprehensive reserve reports in strict compliance with SEC and PRMS guidelines.
- Collaborate with drilling, completions, and facilities teams to maximize production and recovery factors.
- Mentor junior engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Present strategic investment opportunities and production forecasts to senior executive stakeholders.
- Implement advanced data analytics and machine learning workflows to streamline reservoir modeling processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related geoscience discipline.
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or similar simulation suites.
- Strong working knowledge of reserve estimation, economic analysis, and decline curve analysis.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects and delivering high-accuracy production forecasts.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical teams.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred but not required.
