Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and urban developments
- Perform advanced structural analysis and geotechnical assessments using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with FEMA and TxDOT regulations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers
- Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges while prioritizing sustainability and safety
- Conduct site inspections, quality control reviews, and regulatory compliance audits
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM modeling, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated experience with FEMA floodplain modeling and TxDOT design standards
- Strong understanding of LEED certification processes and sustainable engineering practices
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $5M in value
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and regulatory compliance
