Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance and optimize recovery factors.
- Lead multidisciplinary field development plans (FDP) from conceptual design through execution.
- Conduct detailed pressure transient analysis (PTA) and nodal analysis to enhance production efficiency.
- Collaborate with petrophysicists and geologists to build integrated 3D static and dynamic models.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best-in-class technical standards across the reservoir department.
- Perform economic evaluations and risk assessments for new drilling opportunities and workover projects.
- Present technical findings and investment recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or similar suites.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale assets and successful field development projects.
- Strong understanding of reservoir fluid properties, rock mechanics, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not mandatory.
