Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for complex unconventional assets
- Lead field development planning and production optimization strategies
- Analyze well performance data and recommend enhanced recovery techniques
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate subsurface interpretations
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence within the team
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with emerging technologies like AI-driven reservoir analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus)
- Strong background in well test analysis and production forecasting
- Experience with EOR/IOR techniques and economic modeling
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional projects
- Knowledge of Permian/Bakken/Williston basin operations preferred
