Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects including MRT extensions, waterfront developments, and smart city infrastructure
- Oversee project lifecycle from feasibility studies through to commissioning, ensuring compliance with Singapore Building Authority regulations
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and external consultants
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges in Singapore's unique soil conditions
- Implement BIM methodologies and digital engineering tools for precision project delivery
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for construction challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with 3+ years in project leadership
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with Singapore Board of Engineers registration
- Expertise in structural design, geotechnical engineering, and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's building codes, BC regulations, and sustainability standards
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with experience in resolving complex engineering challenges
