Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex electrical power distribution systems, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Conduct rigorous load flow analysis and short-circuit studies using ETAP or SKM.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Manage technical documentation, ensuring compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local building codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct comprehensive design reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Develop innovative strategies for renewable energy grid integration and power quality improvement.
- Oversee on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting for large-scale industrial projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in industrial power systems engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in California is highly preferred.
- Deep proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, and power analysis software.
- Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E.
- Demonstrated history of managing multi-million dollar projects from concept to completion.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for stakeholders.
