Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Analyze well performance data to identify optimization opportunities and recommend production enhancements
- Develop and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies for unconventional assets
- Lead cross-functional teams in reservoir characterization studies and field development plans
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Petrel, CMG)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and visualization tools
- Proven track record in EOR implementation and production optimization
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts
