Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for aerospace applications
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer
- Conduct EMC/EMI testing and compliance analysis
- Lead root cause investigations for electrical system failures
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system designs
- Stay current on FAA/EASA certification requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics
- Expertise in power electronics and motor drive systems
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium, AutoCAD Electrical)
- Strong analytical skills with FMEA/FTA methodologies
- Experience with DO-160 environmental testing standards
- Valid US passport for occasional international travel
- PE license or active pursuit thereof
