Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for shale gas and tight oil projects
- Lead production optimization strategies using AI-driven analytics and real-time monitoring
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic data and well log interpretations
- Develop economic models for field development plans and enhanced recovery techniques
- Mentor junior engineers and present technical findings to executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with API RP 43 and SPE standards for reservoir management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Proficiency in Eclipse, Petrel, and reservoir simulation software
- Strong background in production data analysis and decline curve modeling
- Proven track record of optimizing well performance in shale formations
- Valid P.E. license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and IoT integration
