Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Utilize CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS) for stress analysis and thermal modeling
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control
- Design and test mechanical systems for extreme environments
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with cross-functional teams to align technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- FSAE or similar competition experience highly valued
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards
- Proven track record in material selection and failure analysis
- PMP certification a plus
