Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities and recommend field development strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating geological, geophysical, and engineering data
- Develop and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques for mature assets
- Prepare detailed technical reports and economic evaluations for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and champion continuous improvement in reservoir management practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas reservoir engineering
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation and production analysis software
- Proven track record of optimizing field development plans and EOR projects
- Strong understanding of reservoir characterization and well performance analysis
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences
