Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance and optimize recovery strategies.
  • Lead volumetric analysis and reserve estimations in compliance with SEC and PRMS guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective well completion and workover programs.
  • Conduct integrated production forecasting to support strategic business planning and budget development.
  • Monitor and analyze pressure transient data to characterize reservoir behavior and connectivity.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for reservoir management and data visualization.
  • Present technical findings and investment recommendations to senior executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
  • Strong understanding of economic evaluation methods and decline curve analysis (DCA).
  • Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects in unconventional or deepwater plays.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
