Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance and optimize recovery strategies.
- Lead volumetric analysis and reserve estimations in compliance with SEC and PRMS guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective well completion and workover programs.
- Conduct integrated production forecasting to support strategic business planning and budget development.
- Monitor and analyze pressure transient data to characterize reservoir behavior and connectivity.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for reservoir management and data visualization.
- Present technical findings and investment recommendations to senior executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation methods and decline curve analysis (DCA).
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects in unconventional or deepwater plays.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
