Responsibilities
- Design and oversee execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for municipal developments
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA) to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources using BIM and project management software
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable construction materials and erosion control
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and professional development programs
- Present project proposals to municipal stakeholders and community boards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS mapping, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and timeline constraints
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and OSHA regulations
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management and technical presentations
