Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Eclipse, Petrel)
- Optimize production strategies through decline curve analysis and well performance monitoring
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop field development plans and drilling programs
- Analyze geological data to identify new reserves and enhance recovery techniques
- Develop economic models to evaluate project viability and investment opportunities
- Ensure compliance with SPE standards and environmental regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of upstream reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software and data analytics tools
- Proven track record in developing field development plans for shale assets
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal well technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking capabilities
