Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation models using Petrel, Eclipse, and CMG software
- Develop field development plans and production optimization strategies
- Analyze well performance data and recommend hydraulic fracturing/completion designs
- Lead reservoir characterization studies integrating seismic, log, and core data
- Prepare economic evaluations and reserves reports for SEC compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical deliverables
- Collaborate with drilling and production teams to implement field solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills with reservoir characterization expertise
- Experience with enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Proven ability to manage large-scale field development projects
- Valid P.E. license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Knowledge of SEC reserves reporting standards
