Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize recovery strategies
- Analyze well data, pressure trends, and geological surveys to identify untapped reserves and production bottlenecks
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing field development plans and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reservoir evaluation reports and economic feasibility studies for senior stakeholders
- Implement digital transformation projects integrating AI/ML for predictive reservoir analytics
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical innovation and safety excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, tNavigator)
- Expertise in well test analysis, production forecasting, and EOR techniques
- Strong understanding of geological modeling and geomechanical principles
- Proven track record of optimizing field development plans with measurable ROI
- Valid P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
