Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance and optimize recovery factors.
- Conduct integrated production and pressure transient analysis to identify underperforming assets.
- Lead reserve estimation and auditing processes in accordance with SEC guidelines.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to design efficient well placement strategies.
- Perform economic evaluations and risk assessments for new project acquisitions.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on reservoir management best practices.
- Present technical findings and development strategies to executive leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong understanding of PVT analysis, fluid properties, and material balance methods.
- Proven track record in managing complex field development projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
