Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir management strategies to optimize production and recovery.
- Conduct high-fidelity reservoir simulation and numerical modeling to predict field performance.
- Perform detailed volumetric analysis and uncertainty assessment for prospective drill sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional drilling and completions teams to design efficient well placement strategies.
- Lead technical reviews and prepare formal documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best-in-class reservoir engineering workflows.
- Monitor and analyze real-time production data to identify field optimization opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience in reservoir engineering, specifically with onshore unconventional assets.
- Proven expertise in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation, reserve reporting (SEC/SPE standards), and production forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale multidisciplinary projects from conception to execution.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to data-driven decision making.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
