Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Perform comprehensive pressure transient analysis and fluid characterization studies.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design and execute field development strategies.
- Evaluate asset acquisition opportunities through rigorous economic modeling and risk assessment.
- Monitor and optimize waterflood and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) operations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and cross-functional departments.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory safety and environmental standards in all operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related Earth Science discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in upstream reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or Kappa.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to interpret complex subsurface data sets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data for executive stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of economic evaluation techniques and project management workflows.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
