Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using Eclipse and Petrel software
- Optimize hydraulic fracturing and waterflooding programs for unconventional assets
- Analyze production data to identify underperforming wells and recommend remediation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing field development plans (FDPs) and economic forecasts
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical deliverables
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and investor committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus) and data analytics tools
- Proven track record of optimizing well performance in shale formations
- Strong knowledge of production forecasting and economic modeling
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with machine learning applications in reservoir engineering
