Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to predict hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead field development planning and production optimization initiatives
- Analyze well performance data to recommend enhanced recovery techniques
- Develop economic models for field development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
- Prepare detailed reservoir studies and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging technologies in digital oil fields and AI applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis
- Proven track record of successful field development projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deep understanding of EOR techniques and unconventional reservoirs
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
