Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field behavior and production forecasts.
- Conduct detailed pressure transient analysis and material balance calculations for asset evaluation.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to design effective well placement and stimulation strategies.
- Evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities through comprehensive technical due diligence.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote the adoption of cutting-edge reservoir management workflows.
- Monitor field production performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improved recovery.
- Present technical findings and investment recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or Kappa.
- Proven track record in unconventional or offshore reservoir performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of economic modeling and risk assessment in upstream assets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical data to non-technical partners.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
