The Role:
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electrical product development, from conceptual design and simulation to prototyping and mass production. You will collaborate closely with firmware and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of complex power electronics and embedded systems.
- Design and optimize high-voltage PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium Designer, Cadence, or OrCAD).
- Conduct thorough circuit analysis, thermal simulations, and reliability testing to meet stringent industry standards (UL, IEC, CE).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and drive innovation in energy efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage the transition of designs from prototype to mass production, including DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical circuit design, power electronics, or embedded systems.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design tools.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, power converters, and motor control systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, or MATLAB/Simulink is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
