Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir management strategies for multi-well asset portfolios.
- Perform complex decline curve analysis (DCA) and material balance modeling to forecast production and reserves.
- Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to optimize well placement and stimulation designs.
- Utilize advanced simulation software to evaluate secondary and tertiary recovery opportunities.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster technical knowledge sharing across departments.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s or PhD is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, OFM, or Kappa.
- Proven track record in unconventional resource development and performance optimization.
- Strong grasp of economic analysis, capital budgeting, and asset valuation.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and commercial requirements.
