Responsibilities
- Design and oversee execution of complex civil engineering projects including transportation networks, water systems, and structural foundations
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact analyses
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and construction specialists
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and ADA regulations
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Implement BIM/CIM technologies for digital project delivery
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Present project updates to municipal boards and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS software
- Experience with TxDOT, City of Austin, and Williamson County permitting
- Strong knowledge of LEED and sustainable infrastructure practices
- Proven project management with PMP certification preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
