Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to enhance hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead well planning and drilling operations for onshore/offshore developments
- Conduct economic analysis and production forecasting for field development plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges in real-time
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental standards
- Stay current with emerging technologies like AI-driven reservoir optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong knowledge of drilling engineering and completion technologies
- Proven track record in field development planning and production optimization
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with unconventional resources (shale, tight formations)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
