Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute reservoir management strategies for unconventional and conventional assets.
  • Perform comprehensive decline curve analysis and pressure transient analysis.
  • Build and maintain high-fidelity reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
  • Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to optimize well placement and stimulation designs.
  • Prepare detailed economic evaluations and reserve reports in compliance with SEC guidelines.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Present data-driven recommendations to executive leadership to guide capital allocation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s or PhD is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
  • Proven proficiency in Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or similar industry-standard simulation software.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in stochastic modeling and uncertainty analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business strategy.
  • Deep understanding of North American shale play economics and development workflows.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
