Stratos Energy Solutions is seeking a high-caliber Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our elite asset management team in the heart of Houston's Energy Corridor. Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive reservoir simulation studies using Petrel and Eclipse to forecast production and optimize recovery strategies.
- Perform detailed pressure transient analysis (PTA) and rate transient analysis (RTA) to characterize reservoir connectivity and performance.
- Coordinate with geoscientists and drilling engineers to design and execute high-impact field development plans.
- Conduct annual reserves estimations and reporting in strict accordance with SEC and PRMS guidelines.
- Evaluate acquisition and divestiture (A&D) opportunities through rigorous economic modeling and technical due diligence.
- Mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical innovation and continuous improvement.
- Present technical findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and joint venture partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related geoscience discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Petrel, Eclipse, NEXUS, and Aries/PHDWin.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale assets and delivering significant production growth.
- Deep understanding of unconventional shale play mechanics and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred but not required.
