Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive reservoir simulation studies using Petrel and Eclipse to forecast production and optimize recovery strategies.
  • Perform detailed pressure transient analysis (PTA) and rate transient analysis (RTA) to characterize reservoir connectivity and performance.
  • Coordinate with geoscientists and drilling engineers to design and execute high-impact field development plans.
  • Conduct annual reserves estimations and reporting in strict accordance with SEC and PRMS guidelines.
  • Evaluate acquisition and divestiture (A&D) opportunities through rigorous economic modeling and technical due diligence.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Present technical findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and joint venture partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related geoscience discipline.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software including Petrel, Eclipse, NEXUS, and Aries/PHDWin.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale assets and delivering significant production growth.
  • Deep understanding of unconventional shale play mechanics and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred but not required.
