Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reservoir characterization and simulation studies using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG).
- Analyze production data to identify trends, optimize recovery factors, and forecast future reserves.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design and execution of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects.
- Develop and present technical reports and reservoir management plans to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with drilling and completion engineers to ensure well placement and operational efficiency.
- Manage reservoir risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations for field development.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering, preferably in onshore or offshore operations.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for technical presentations.
