Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize field development plans
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and recommend operational improvements
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating geoscience, drilling, and production teams
- Develop economic forecasts and production profiles for investment decision support
- Manage reservoir surveillance programs to ensure optimal asset performance
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge transfer initiatives
- Stay current with emerging technologies in digital oilfield and automation solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus, GAP)
- Strong analytical skills with reservoir characterization and modeling expertise
- Demonstrated success in optimizing mature field production
- Experience with waterflood and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Valid PE license (Professional Engineer) in Texas
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts
