Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to forecast production and recovery.
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities and perform comprehensive asset valuation.
- Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to optimize well placement and stimulation designs.
- Conduct pressure transient analysis and well test interpretation to characterize reservoir properties.
- Prepare technical presentations and reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on technical workflows and industry best practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and safety standards in all field operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G upstream sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex subsurface data.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects and meeting production targets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical teams.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is highly preferred.
