Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional assets
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in production optimization and enhanced oil recovery projects
- Analyze well performance data and recommend strategic interventions
- Develop field development plans with economic evaluation and risk assessment
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate geological data into reservoir models
- mentor junior engineers and implement best practices across projects
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, CMG)
- Proven track record in shale/tight oil asset optimization
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
- Experience with A&D transactions and reserves reporting
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts
