Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
  • Execute rigorous well testing analysis and pressure transient analysis (PTA) to optimize field development plans.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary asset teams to identify bypassed pay zones and infill drilling opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate field performance data to ensure compliance with production targets and recovery strategies.
  • Lead technical mentorship for junior engineering staff and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support reserve estimation processes in accordance with SEC and internal corporate standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or related Geoscience field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or OFM.
  • Deep understanding of fluid properties (PVT) and advanced rock physics.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in recovery factors and NPV.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
