Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Execute rigorous well testing analysis and pressure transient analysis (PTA) to optimize field development plans.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary asset teams to identify bypassed pay zones and infill drilling opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate field performance data to ensure compliance with production targets and recovery strategies.
- Lead technical mentorship for junior engineering staff and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Support reserve estimation processes in accordance with SEC and internal corporate standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or related Geoscience field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or OFM.
- Deep understanding of fluid properties (PVT) and advanced rock physics.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in recovery factors and NPV.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
