Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex reservoir simulation models to forecast field performance.
- Design and execute comprehensive field development plans to maximize recovery factors.
- Conduct detailed pressure transient analysis and material balance studies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of geologists and drilling engineers to identify new drilling opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze real-time production data to optimize wellbore and completion efficiency.
- Prepare technical presentations and performance reports for executive leadership.
- Ensure strict adherence to industry safety standards and environmental regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation, risk analysis, and AFE preparation.
- Proven track record of managing unconventional resource assets.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and quantitative analysis skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
