Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models (Eclipse/tNavigator) for field development planning.
  • Execute volumetric calculations and reserve estimations in compliance with SEC/SPE guidelines.
  • Analyze well performance data to optimize completion strategies and artificial lift selection.
  • Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to identify and execute infill drilling opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical presentations for executive leadership regarding asset valuation and growth.
  • Conduct pressure transient analysis (PTA) to diagnose wellbore and reservoir connectivity issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering.
  • Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software, specifically tNavigator, Eclipse, or Petrel.
  • In-depth knowledge of North American shale asset development and waterflood optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in economic evaluation tools such as Aries or PHDWin.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
