Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive reservoir simulation studies using Petrel and Eclipse to forecast asset performance.
- Develop and execute field development plans (FDP) to maximize ultimate recovery and net present value.
- Conduct pressure transient analysis and material balance modeling to characterize reservoir connectivity.
- Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate static and dynamic models for high-fidelity uncertainty analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and lead cross-functional peer reviews.
- Optimize well placement and completion designs based on rigorous numerical modeling and economic constraints.
- Evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities through detailed technical due diligence and reserve estimation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software including Petrel, Eclipse, and Kappa Workstation.
- Proven track record of managing deepwater or unconventional asset development projects.
- Deep understanding of SEC reserve reporting standards and PRMS guidelines.
- Strong economic modeling skills with proficiency in Aries or Peep software.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification is highly desirable.
