Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive reservoir simulation studies using Petrel and Eclipse to forecast asset performance.
  • Develop and execute field development plans (FDP) to maximize ultimate recovery and net present value.
  • Conduct pressure transient analysis and material balance modeling to characterize reservoir connectivity.
  • Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate static and dynamic models for high-fidelity uncertainty analysis.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and lead cross-functional peer reviews.
  • Optimize well placement and completion designs based on rigorous numerical modeling and economic constraints.
  • Evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities through detailed technical due diligence and reserve estimation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software including Petrel, Eclipse, and Kappa Workstation.
  • Proven track record of managing deepwater or unconventional asset development projects.
  • Deep understanding of SEC reserve reporting standards and PRMS guidelines.
  • Strong economic modeling skills with proficiency in Aries or Peep software.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification is highly desirable.
