Responsibilities
- Perform integrated reservoir studies to estimate reserves and optimize production forecasts.
- Develop and implement sophisticated reservoir simulation models to enhance field recovery efficiency.
- Conduct detailed economic evaluations and risk assessments for new drilling prospects and asset acquisitions.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to integrate sub-surface data into operational workflows.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on industry best practices and advanced technical modeling.
- Monitor field performance data to identify opportunities for production optimization and workover interventions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong understanding of PVT analysis, material balance, and decline curve analysis.
- Proven track record of delivering high-accuracy reserve estimations and production strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
