Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir management strategies for active assets.
- Perform high-fidelity reservoir simulations to optimize well placement and recovery efficiency.
- Conduct detailed material balance and decline curve analysis (DCA) for production forecasting.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings involving geologists, petrophysicists, and drilling engineers.
- Mentor junior staff and promote engineering excellence within the technical department.
- Evaluate acquisition and divestiture (A&D) opportunities with rigorous economic analysis.
- Prepare and present technical reports to executive leadership for investment decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, Intersect, or OFM.
- Deep understanding of pressure transient analysis and waterflood management.
- Strong grasp of economic modeling and risk assessment principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
