Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and optimize well completion strategies.
- Perform uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for field development projects.
- Monitor reservoir performance metrics and implement waterflood or EOR optimization techniques.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Present data-driven insights and project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure all engineering practices adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software: Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or similar.
- Strong grasp of nodal analysis, pressure transient analysis, and decline curve analysis.
- Proven track record in shale play development and unconventional resource management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data for executive stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
